Dive Into Clarity
Harness the True Power of Power BI
Making Sense of It All
Just like a kingfisher that hovers to assess its target, dives with precision, and moves through murky water with perfect clarity, Kingfisher BI helps organizations focus on the right data and see what it really means. Scattered data becomes clear, reliable insight. Power BI models and reports are structured the right way so teams get answers that support real decisions. And if you want to take it a step further, your folks can be trained to use Power BI to create that clarity themselves.

It’s All About You
Well, it’s a little bit about me, but mostly about you. My goal is simple - to help your team thrive. I’m the sole consultant behind Kingfisher BI, and if you’d like to understand how my background puts me in a position to make your life easier, view each of the items in the skills list.

I am an Agile project manager with extensive experience leading teams in complex technical environments. Years of working with varied customers across vastly different domains made me comfortable stepping into ambiguity and moving through uncertainty to arrive at well-defined solutions.
My project management credentials include SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) and Project Management Professional (PMP).
-
I started as an early citizen developer, building Microsoft Access apps that moved teams away from Excel-centric processes. That work led to a role on a business intelligence team, where understanding SQL and the fundamentals of BI development became core skills. Today my development focus is on harnessing the power of data by creating Power BI products that are logical, accurate, and easy to maintain.
My credential as a Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate confirms my skills in preparing data, modeling data, and deploying and maintaining Power BI assets.
-
I began my career as a financial analyst, working with budgets, forecasts, and the operational details behind business decisions. That foundation carried into my work as a business analyst, where learning how to translate business needs into data requirements and meaningful reporting became the focus. My experience as an analyst shaped the way I lead projects today - by making decisions based on data and guiding teams toward evidence-based problem solving.
My credential as a Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate confirms my skills in visualizing and analyzing data.
-
I’ve been training end users on custom-built applications for more than ten years, making complex tools easier for people to understand and use. My experience running live demos prepared me to comfortably explain concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. I also create documentation that supports training - clear, practical materials that help people continue learning on their own.
My Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) credential confirms my instructional capabilities.
